1. Buddhism
Buddhism is mostly known to us today as a legacy of Shakyamuni Buddha (aka Gautama Buddha) more than 2,500 years ago. We rarely hear anything about Buddhism in the period prior to Shakyamuni Buddha. For followers of Buddhism, countless number of books and materials do not seem to be able to provide readers with a holistic view of Buddhism history and in particular its Buddha Leaders. Many of us probably would ask questions like: when did Buddhism come to exist? Was there Buddhism prior to Shakyamuni Buddha (aka Gautama Buddha)? Who did lead the Buddhism before Shakyamuni Buddha? And who is next to replace him? Etc.
Buddhism was established a long time ago prior to the period of Shakyamuni Buddha, more than 7,000 years ago. Buddhism is the doctrine issued and promulgated by the Highest Universal Council. It is being maintained and edited until today.
Buddhism teaches the following fundamental matters:
+ To explain clearly to mankind (Astral and Rough men) in the whole Universe the Existence of Universe including: the existence of Troi which is the Highest Power of the Universe; existence of the Highest Universe Council HUC; the Buddha & God Council (BGC), Emperor Council (EC); the Laws of Troi and Laws of Emperor; the Co-existence of Visible and Invisible Spaces, Astral Men and Rough Men, Reincarnation, etc. Buddhism explains the truthful facts existing in the Universe independent to the thoughts of men.
+ To guide the Astral and Rough men in the whole Universe the way to cultivate their mind and body towards “ Truth, Goodness, Forbearance”.
In general, it was a body of scientific knowledge about the Universe and how man should live in harmony with Nature and the Laws of Troi. It is a science about way of living.
Shakyamuni Buddha was the 4th generation of Buddha Leader of Buddhism. When he was alive on Earth he invented one of the greatest invention in Buddhism where he found the harmonized way for cultivation (the Middle Way), which basically means cultivating in the conditions of normal life (eating, working and living normally). (See here for more details). Through thousands of years, teaching in Buddhism was lost and there remains only fragments of truth originally taught by the Buddha.
This article discusses the generations of Buddhas who were the leader of Buddhism. Buddhas mentioned here are those who are now dwelling in the invisible space who once led the Buddhism not just only on planet Earth but also Buddhism on other man-bearing planets in the whole Universe. All of them were Rough Men on Earth who cultivated to attain the highest level in the Universe. (see here for levels in the Universe).
For Buddhism read more here.
2. Generations of Buddha Leaders
Upper Buddhas in the Universe
Upper Buddhas are once those Rough Men on man-bearing planets in the Universe who have attained enlightenment at the highest level called Upper Buddha (See Figure 1 below). As the highest Astral Men dwelling in the invisible space, they are guiding men (both Rough Men and Astral Men) in the whole Universe to practice their mind and develop their virtue toward Chan, Thien, Nhan (Truth, Goodness, Forbearance). Upper Buddhas are truly treasured Astral Men in this Universe. This is a fact, a truth, not a legend and never be a superstition.
As of the present time November 2018, there are only 14 Upper Buddhas in the whole Universe. (read more about the Upper Buddha here and here).

3. Leading the Standing Three Jewels and Highest Universal Council-FOGHY
There are 5 generations of Leaders of Buddhism who once led the Standing Three Jewels (now known as Highest Universal Council-FOGHY) till today’s date. All of them are called Duc Phat Thuong Ton (Highest Revered Buddhas) but only 4 of them remained, except for Amitabha who is no longer a Buddha. Their leadership time in chronological order, is as follows:
- BIROL Buddha, who was the first Leader the Standing Three Jewels, from 5050 BCE to 2053 BCE
- OLMO Buddha, succeeded BIROL Buddha in 2053 BCE and held this position until 917 BCE
- Amitabha period (from 917 BCE to 113 BCE). See below.
- Shakyamuni (LANTIG) Buddha, succeeded Amitabha to lead the Highest Universal Council in 113 BCE until 2018 when Van Van Quang Buddha has been appointed to replace him to lead the Council.
- Van Van Quang Buddha, leading FOGHY from May 2018.
There was a period from 917 BCE to 113 BCE, the Highest Universal Council was led by Amitabha Buddha (Buddha name TAGOCOL). Amitabha led the Highest Universal Council only for around 800 years (whilst a normal term should be around 1,200 years). This man in fact violated an instruction of Troi and was removed from this position in 113 BCE. In 2018, Amitabha and Maitreya (Buddha name ROPA) were found guilty of a crime where they were the mastermind of a plot to betray and overthrow Troi. Both of them have been imprisoned in the Prison level and all of their Buddha titles have been revoked by Troi.
Note:
- BIROL Buddha is often known to men on Earth as Bhaiṣajyaguru Buddha (or the Medicine Buddha) with the Sanskrit name Bhaiṣajyaguru. This is not correct and not his name (Sri Lanka didn’t use Sanskrit at his time) but attributed to him later. Read about his life and cultivation here.
- OLMO Buddha is often known to men on Earth as Cundi Buddha with Sanskrit name Cundi. This is not correct and not her name. She was a Burmese in her last incarnation and that country didn’t use Sanskrit. Some Buddhist scriptures still call her Bodhisattva which is not correct. She should be called Upper Buddha or shorter Buddha. Read more about OLMO Buddha here.
